Choosing a gym flooring supplier in Saudi Arabia matters as much as choosing the tile. Gym flooring is bought once and lived with for years. A wrong choice shows up as dull, scuffed tiles in month ten, a noise complaint from the neighbouring unit, or a floor that smells for weeks. Almost all of these outcomes trace back to questions that were never asked at the quoting stage.

Use this checklist with any supplier, including us. The right supplier will answer all ten without hesitation.
A Material Test Certificate documents what the material actually is. At Diode Trading EST, every order ships with one. If a supplier cannot produce it, treat that as a warning, not a formality.
Premium products come with technical data sheets. Tiles with no named manufacturer and no data are a gamble, however good the sample looks. Our data sheets are on the Downloads page.
Ask the supplier to name the zone for each tile: cardio, medium weights, heavy lifting, martial arts, kids. A 7mm tile rated for medium weights is not a drop-zone product.
A good supplier will tell you honestly where an underlay such as SonicBase is needed and where it is wasted money. If the answer is always “yes, everywhere” or always “no”, ask why.
For mixed-use buildings and hotels, these matter. As an example of what good data looks like, SonicBase lists an Efl-s2 fire reaction rating and acoustic insulation above 20 dB. Ask for equivalent figures for every product you are considering.
Standard formats and edge types affect installation speed and waste. The Troter Genius, Marbled Troter and MUSA range, for example, comes in 100x100cm puzzle tiles with straight-cut sides available on request.
Special colours often carry minimums. For example, purple is offered as a special colour in the Troter Genius range with a minimum order of 100 sqm. Knowing this early avoids redesigning at the last minute.
Colour and finish look different under studio lighting than on a screen. Marbled and mottled finishes especially should be seen in person. Request samples before approving a full order.
Ask for realistic delivery timing to your city and what the supplier does when a batch is delayed. Construction schedules rarely have slack for flooring.
Ask whether guidance on subfloor preparation and installation sequence is available, and who to call if something does not fit on site.
Send the ten questions to every supplier on your shortlist in writing and compare the answers side by side. The differences in clarity and speed are usually more revealing than the differences in price.
A supplier worth working with names manufacturers, provides data sheets, gives an honest view on where products should not be used, and documents what you receive. It is a straightforward standard, and it is the reason premium facility owners and fit-out consultants ask these questions in the first place.
