Virgin PTFE gives the best chemical resistance and insulation. Glass-filled PTFE improves creep and wear resistance, carbon- and graphite-filled grades suit dynamic seals, and bronze-filled PTFE suits high-load bushes and guide parts. A. Tight tolerances are possible, but PTFE expands with temperature, so tolerances should be specified at a stated temperature.
