Spiral Wound & RTJ Gaskets – Product Details
As an SWG supplier in KSA, Diode Trading EST supplies spiral wound gaskets made from alternating windings of metal strip and soft filler, fitted with inner and outer rings to centre the gasket and control compression. They are the standard choice for raised-face flanges in process piping where temperature and pressure cycling would damage a plain sheet gasket.
We also stock ring joint (RTJ) metal gaskets for API 6A and ASME B16.5 / B16.47 ring-type-joint flanges used on wellheads, high-pressure pipelines and refinery units. Both ranges are supplied against ASME, API and EN flange standards, with material certificates from the manufacturer available on request.

What is the difference between spiral wound and RTJ gaskets?
Spiral wound gaskets seal on raised-face flanges with a metal-and-filler winding; RTJ gaskets are solid metal rings that seat in a machined groove on ring-type-joint flanges, typically for higher pressures.
Do you stock standard flange sizes?
Yes. Common sizes and pressure classes are held in our Dammam warehouse; non-standard sizes can be sourced on request.
Can you supply material certificates?
Manufacturer material test certificates can be provided with the goods when requested at the time of ordering.
