Neoprene bridge bearing pads in Saudi Arabia sit between a structure and its support to carry vertical load while allowing rotation and small horizontal movements caused by thermal expansion, creep and traffic. Plain neoprene (chloroprene) pads are used where loads and movements are modest, such as precast beams, slabs, stair landings and pipe supports. What is the difference between plain and laminated bearing pads?
Plain pads are solid elastomer for lighter loads and small movements. Laminated pads have bonded steel plates between elastomer layers, giving higher load capacity and controlled deformation for bridges and heavy structures.

Can you cut pads to our drawing sizes?
Yes. Plain pads are cut to size from stock sheet in Dammam. Laminated pads are supplied to the specified dimensions.

Do you provide material data?
We supply the manufacturer’s material and test information with the order where the project requires it.

Which hardness should I choose?
Hardness is set by the structural specification; 60 Shore A is common for plain pads, but follow the consultant’s drawing. We supply the grade stated.

Are neoprene pads suitable for outdoor exposure in Saudi Arabia?
Chloroprene has good resistance to ozone, weathering and heat, which is why it is widely used for exposed bearings.

Do you stock laminated bearings?
Common sizes may be available from stock; larger or project-specific laminated pads are supplied to specification. Ask us for current availability.
