Polyurethane wheels combine a tough, abrasion-resistant PU tread with a rigid core (steel, cast iron, aluminium or nylon). Compared with rubber wheels they carry higher loads, resist oils and cutting fluids, and run quietly without marking the floor. Compared with steel or nylon wheels they protect epoxy and concrete floors and absorb shock on uneven surfaces.
